Helping people is my passion!
I'm a Spokane native, educator, and long-time community volunteer. What made me a successful teacher, and later an effective elementary school principal, translates directly to the skills and work ethic I bring to your real estate needs. Each home buying or selling situation is as unique as the people involved. I work with families, taking into account your needs, timeline and financial plans, to accomplish your goals.
Whether you are in the market for your first home, or considering a move to a larger property (or downsizing!) I am ready to help you move quickly through the process while meeting all Federal and State requirements. Your satisfaction is what drives me to exceed expectations and attend to the details that can make home buying a time consuming hassle for busy families. While teaching, I earned a Master's degree from Whitworth University, so I know what it means to have a full plate; I'll go the extra mile to make your home buying experience as smooth as possible!
Outside of work, I love spending time with family, particularly watching my son play baseball and the piano. I also enjoy attending sporting events and concerts, serving nonprofits, walking the corgis, reading, and cooking. I look forward to meeting you!

Melinda was a fantastic, frequent, and timely communicator with a great personality for doing her job well: she knows when and how to be technical, to be skeptical, and to be realistic while also maintaining a positive, approachable attitude and explaining things in terms we could understand. I reached out to her from the Gay Real Estate website and was very surprised and delighted by how quickly she replied, and that promptness never wavered during the whole process. She was an excellent cheerleader, motivator, and advocator in our hunt for the home we found, and I'm so grateful we had the resource to get in touch with her!
