Tonya was born and raised in Lamesa and spent many years traveling to Lubbock before making it her family's permanent home. She's always been a fan of decorating her own houses, diving into her personality and style, which sparked a passion for helping others do the same, turns out she LOVES Real Estate, helping people shop for a new home is her fav! Tonya is knowledgeable and passionate about the Lubbock community and the people who find themselves looking to live there. Tonya learned what it meant to become an Ally to the LGBTQ+ community when her own daughter came out. Supporting her daughter was a given, but her eyes and heart were opened to a whole new point of view. She soon saw how huge the community is in need of supportive, safe, loving, friendly people, businesses and business owners. She realized the need to feel safe and accepted and to know - before you ever start your search - that whomever or whatever you choose is going to be welcoming and not judgmental. The need for this is huge, and she knew she wanted to be a part of the solution to that. In addition to happily serving the community, she is growing her own vendor and referral list that are also LGBTQ+ Allies, so that she can keep giving to her clients while they are in the home buying or selling process, and then beyond as well.
When Tonya isn't helping people find their dream home, she can be found watching Friends, checking out Lubbock's locally owned businesses, or on a date with her husband.
