Eric has served as President of the Quad City Area REALTOR Association and he has served as the Federal Political Coordinator for the Illinois 17th Congressional District. He was named as the Quad City Area Illinois REALTOR of the Year in 2012.
Eric retired from the US Navy where he served as an Intelligence Analyst for 20 years and served on active duty in Iraq in 2007 in a counter terrorist intelligence unit. Eric earned a Bachelor's Degree from The University of Texas at Austin in 1991 and his Master of Science Degree in Education from Western Illinois University in 1999. He is married to Dawn Newton and together they have 6 children and 10 grandchildren.
