Born and raised in Dearborn, Michigan ( the home town of Henry Ford and Ford World Headquarters) I was keenly aware of history and historic homes from an early age. I was always interested in people and properties with a special history and the 'story' behind them. My interest in real estate started during my college years at the University of Michigan where I studied Education and Linguistics - and went on to teach in 2 bilingual schools - one in the French language and one in the Arabic language. I was fortunate to see the world right after college and experience culture and people in their homes and their lifestyle up close and personal.
After my teaching career I went on to own a successful restaurant, bar, and bakery in Royal Oak Michigan for over 20 years. I decided that the sunshine and beaches of Florida were one of my most favorite places in the country and moved to the Tampa Bay area to explore the next chapter of my life and career.
Tampa/St. Pete allowed me to explore the multi cultural flavors of the world in one special place that I could now call HOME! My desire to enjoy the beautiful weather & diverse neighborhoods brought me to Saint Petersburg where I currently reside with my husband, Derreck, and our two dogs Louee, French Bulldog and Henry, Silky Terrier. My career in real estate has allowed me to meet so many people from a variety of backgrounds and cultures and my world seems to have come full circle again!
