Active Gay Community Leader:
Currently living in San Marco...one of of the 'gayborhoods near downtown Jacksonville FL, where I actually 'came out' in a major, local Jacksonville newspaper article (with full color photo) titled "COMING OUT" back in 1991. Shortly after that, I started the first local Human Rights Campaign chapter at a Gay PRIDE event. Not only was I a pioneer in living my 'authentic self' long before it was cool to be gay in Northeast Florida, but I continue today in being true to my community by paying it forward through my volunteer efforts with several organizations helping teens get the resources needed for some of the basic necessities of life such as a roof over their heads, enabling them to not only survive...but to gain confidence and flourish in our amazing, diverse community!

There are many qualities and skills that go into being an excellent real estate professional - integrity, in-depth community and market knowledge, marketing savvy, effective negotiation skills and a high-quality professional network, all of which are hallmarks of how I work.
That said, in my experience as a REALTOR, I've also found that providing the very best service is essentially about putting my clients first. This means keeping myself accessible, being a good listener as well as a good communicator, and responding quickly to your needs.
This "client first" philosophy has always been my approach and it requires me to continually improve my skills and ways of doing business. After working as a Customer Service Manager for Johnson & Johnson and Medtronic, both Fortune 500 companies, as well as working for Starwood Hotels & Resorts; I learned a lot about taking care of my customer through caring and hands-on responsiveness as well as using technology and process to drive results. Now living my lifelong dream, I have taken those skills and infused them into my dream job.
