I was first involved real estate at my family's property management office while attending the University of Alabama on music scholarship. After college, I grew a sales brokerage and real estate investment company up to 77 properties focusing on student houses, multi-family and an additional specialized niche of historic homes. One of those historic homes purchased housed a little restaurant that I was able to grow into a fine dining landmark that won restaurant of the year for 7 out of 10 years straight, was named one of the best kept secrets in the south by Southern Living Magazine, featured in USA Today and received the Wine Spectator designation of "One of the Best Restaurants in America."
I moved to the Birmingham area in 2012. Then in 2014, with long time partner and now husband, Jerett, purchased a Victorian mansion in Bessemer. The residence has been the location of several motion pictures and television series and actively used as local support to historic preservation endeavors. Now, my experience with the restoration, business background and eye for the details at the restaurant, and the 100's of real estate interactions over the years, bring an approach of a true renaissance man that involves experience levels in knowledge and management of a team that is difficult to replicate.
